WHAT DOESKRAV MAGA TRAINING INCLUDE?

At the start of your training, your instructor will take you through the basic stances, defenses, and striking techniques. Along with learning how to deal with an attack, students will gain a deeper understanding of how to perform under stress and increase their general awareness.

Once you have mastered the basics, you will learn how to deal with multiple attackers simultaneously. This will include weapons training, advanced combative techniques, and how to handle complicated situations.

The attacks and defenses you will learn during Krav Maga training are designed for close-quarters, possibly life-threatening situations. The goal of training is to neutralize attacks, counterattack for self-protection purposes, and escape as rapidly and safely as possible.

KRAV MAGABELTS

The Krav Maga Association implemented this belt system to help students understand and track their development. In order to progress to different levels, students will need to take a test.

The Krav Maga belt system is generally made up of five levels. However, at Premier Martial Arts, we do things a little differently. Our students progress through our belt ranking system by mastering various forms of martial arts, including Krav Maga. 

Students with white, yellow, and orange belts are still in the early phases of their training and will learn to master the basics and how to use their bodies and minds as effectively as possible.

Purple, blue, and green belt holders have moved to more advanced levels of their mixed martial arts training. Classes become more physically demanding to match new skill sets. 

As students progress to a brown belt or higher, they’re on their way to becoming true mixed martial arts masters. They have an in-depth understanding of various strikes, blows, and defense moves, and will often engage in sparring.
